CHECK-IN: At 3 PM or after on the day of arrival, please proceed to the property. If you are using a GPS system to locate our rental, please make sure the street and city are entered correctly, as there are similar addresses in the area. Please know that every effort will be made to ensure your vacation rental is ready at 3 PM; however, certain circumstances such as maintenance issues or special cleaning needs may require the check-in time to be extended. Early check-in is never guaranteed and entering your rental property before check-in is prohibited, but you may request an early check in. We try our best to accommodate your wish and get you to start your vacation early.
We offer secure after-hours check-in for all guests who will be arriving after normal business hours.
CHECK OUT: 11 AM or earlier on the date of departure. Please exercise courtesy to the arriving guest by adhering to the check-out time. You may be charged a fee for check out times later than 11 AM. If a property is not vacated by 12 PM (noon), a full day’s rent will be charged to the credit card on file.
You may request a late check-out, it will be granted upon availability at no charge.
WHAT TO BRING: We are not a hotel, so please prepare accordingly. We do provide paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap & kitchen trash bags. We also provide bath towels, but bringing extra towels is recommended for usage on the beach.
DEPARTURE CLEANING: Cleaning at departure is included on all vacation rentals with You Are Where I Go. This is how we ensure that each unit is properly cleaned and sanitized before your arrival. Prior to your departure, please (1) carry out all garbage, (2) secure all doors and windows, (3) remove all items from the freezer and refrigerator, (4) gather all linens and place in one bedroom, and (5) run the dishwasher and return items to their original place or leave dishwasher in a washing cycle.
LINENS: Linens are included with rentals and cannot be removed. Guests are welcome to bring and use their own linens, however upon arrival all linens will be at the property and beds will be made. Linen package includes sheets and pillowcases for all beds, one bath towel and wash cloth per guest (based on max occupancy of property), one bath mat per bathroom, and one kitchen towel.
Towels are not to be used on the beach, and guests will be charged for missing sheets and towels.
RESERVATIONS: An initial payment of 50% of your base rent is due within 5 business days after booking. We accept all major credit cards and paypal. Your balance is due at least 30 days prior to arrival and is not automatically charged to your credit card. Check-in will not be granted unless the reservation has been paid in full. Upon receipt of payment, we will email or mail a confirmation showing your rental cost and taxes. Please review this letter carefully to ensure the information, including dates and unit information, is accurate and acceptable.
RATES: Prices are based on season. Rates vary between $99/night in the winter and $229/night in the summer. Errors in descriptions, rates, and property amenities listed or advertised are subject to change without notice. Omissions, additions, or errors as well as changes in property bedding, furnishings, equipment, etc., shall not be the responsibility of the Agent or Owner. Errors can happen for many reasons, however, our staff works diligently to ensure the accuracy of the information offered in both printed and website material. Ocean Drive Beach Rentals reserves the right to correct any error in pricing or description on our web site and publications.
FEES: Maid Service is mandatory on all our vacation rental properties. This is how we ensure that they will be clean and ready for your arrival. A $100 cleaning fee will be added to your reservation. Taxes currently stand at 12%. The advertised price you see on our website is the base rent, before the addition of your cleaning fee and taxes.
CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES: You may cancel your reservation at any time by emailing us at YouAreWhereIGo@gmail.com. You may cancel your confirmed reservation up until seven (7) days prior to check-in date without penalty. If the reservation is cancelled less than seven (7) days before check-in date, refunds will be made ONLY if the original reservation is fulfilled by a subsequent rental of the same amount and payments are received in full. In that case payments are refunded less a $100 cancellation fee. Changes to dates and/or properties are treated the same as cancellations.
ACCIDENTAL RENTAL DAMAGE: Accidental damage protection is included for any damages or accidents, subject to the exclusions and limitations that occur to the premises during your rental period up to $500. Any damage or accident that is not covered under the policy will be the responsibility of the renter. This protection does not cover acts that are intentional, or due to gross negligence, willful/wanton conduct, or any cause if the guest fails to report the damage/loss before departure from the unit.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: You Are Where I Go Rentals does NOT charge a security deposit on our short-term vacation rentals. Our guests are covered up to $500 of accidental damage to the rental property. Charges will be applied to your credit card only if there are damages, missing items, excessive cleaning requirements, or unpaid balances.
UPON ARRIVAL: Please inspect your unit and notify us immediately of any problems or issues. Every effort will be made to ensure that your unit is clean and undamaged before your arrival. Please notify us immediately of any items that need attention to ensure these problems are taken care of immediately and that you will not be held responsible. Please also read the Rules and Regulations that are posted in your unit. Please be respectful and responsible in adhering to these rules.
PETS: Pets are allowed on the property. However we do charge a pet fee of $25/night. Any and all damages caused by the pet will be charged to the credit card on file.
LOST KEYS: For security reasons and lock-change expense, there will be a $40 charge for all keys not returned at departure.
FURNISHINGS AND CLEANINGS: Every property is equipped with basic housekeeping items such as pillows, blankets, furniture, kitchen appliances, pots, pans, dishes, glasses and silverware. Property reserved sight unseen is represented by Agent as realistically as possible with regards to space, physical conditions and comparisons. We will be unable to make substitutions or refunds on arrival. Each tenant is expected to use the property as if it were their own, and to leave it undamaged. Specific cleaning requirements are as follows: all kitchen, cooking, eating and drinking utensils/equipment are to be cleaned and stored in their proper place. All trash must be removed from the property and placed into the proper outdoor garbage cans or dumpster site. If properties are found to be unreasonably dirty or untidy an extra cleaning fee may be charged.
PARKING: Parking is available on premises either on the the street or in a parking lot in front of the building.
PROBLEM RESOLUTION: If you should discover that your unit has not been cleaned or has damages, please report it to us immediately and we will make all efforts to resolve the problem. Check out time is NOT the time to inform us about problems. We cannot issue refunds for mechanical breakdowns or unforeseen issues. You Are Where I Go Rentals personnel or representatives shall have the right to enter the property at reasonable hours to make timely repairs or inspections with prior coordination. If a service call is made and entry refused, the renter will be held liable for service call fees.
CONSTRUCTION: We cannot make rate adjustments or offer rebates due to construction work, road repair, etc.
LOCKED CLOSETS: Most of our property owners maintain a locked area in their unit for their own personal use. These locked areas are not intended for tenants’ use. Tampering with these locks will result in extra repair charges and/or prosecution.
RETURN SHIPPING: Please ensure that you remove all personal belongings upon check out. A $25 return shipping fee plus cost of postage applies to all items mailed back to guests after departure.
TRANSFER OF PROPERTY: In the event the Owner is unable to deliver said property to Tenant because of fire, eminent domain, delay in construction, lack of utilities, etc., You Are Where I Go Rentals reserves the right to refund advance prepayment. If Agent is able to relocate Tenant, Tenant agrees to pay the difference in rental amount, or accept a refund of all monies paid to Agent. Tenant further agrees that neither Agent nor Owner shall be responsible for any consequential or secondary damages, including but not limited to, any expense incurred as a result of moving. Every effort will be made to contact customer prior to arrival, and to offer similar, satisfactory accommodations, however, we will not be responsible if customer cannot be reached by contact information given at the time of the reservation. Tenant shall not be issued a refund due to unfavorable weather, maintenance problems, area construction, ready departure, or disruption of utility services (including phone or cable), after occupancy.

Cookies, Log Files and Web Beacons: Like many other Web sites, we make use of log files. These files merely log visitors to the site – usually a standard procedure for hosting companies and a part of hosting services’ analytics. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. For the most part, we do not process your information in-house, but give it to third party processors for processing. For example, when PayPal takes your payment information, they are a third party processor. They process your payment and remit the funds to us. So in many instances, it will be necessary for us to transmit your information to a third party processor, as we do not have the capability to perform these functions.
